Cormac T is likely to roll to the lead and set a decent tempo.
BLACKLIST (6) stepped up to a staying trip for the first time this prep and was disappointing here a fortnight ago on a heavy track. Has won over today's trip and with a bit less give in today's surface he is capable of sharp improvement. Waller brings LE TROISIR (10) to NSW after some decent form in Victoria of late. Ran on strongly to be beaten under a length in a BM74 over this distance at Bendigo (metro) two back. Can win if he recaptures that form. BLACK BABYLON (3) improved sharply when second-up over 2110m at this track recently, coming from next to last on the corner to be beaten just over a length against a few of today's rivals. Should make further progress at this early stage of the campaign so a second win at this trip looks on the cards. NATOYA (7) appreciated the extra ground when third here over 2110m at her latest appearance. Very fit mare who is rarely far from the action. UK import SOLAR ARMY (1) might be ready to do something at his third run in Australia. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blacklist each-way.
