Sportsbet Race Replays Handicap 1400m

Track: HEAVY 8   Rain (Max: 13)   Rail: Out 3m Entire Circuit.

Plenty of pace with Didn't Miss Many and Chest Of Gold leading from Raikoke. CHEST OF GOLD (4) makes the most interest first up from a spell. He's a handy 4yo gelding who was tackling some better races last time in, second at Bendigo when fresh last campaign, eventually winning a strong Class 3 at Cranbourne. He's got good early speed and can give a bold sight. LOUIS BARTHAS (6) is flying having won his past three. He is off a 7-week let-up here and interestingly is now with the Hayes yard (ex-Nick Ryan). Watch the betting. LOVELYCUT (3) had excuses offered last time at Flemington having charged home there for second prior. She's not the most reliable conveyance but the ability is there and she should be rattling home. VIVACISSIMO (8) took an inside run and hit the front but was just edged out late second up at Caulfield Heath off a good run fresh. Should be peaking now and will take holding out. IMPENDING LINK (2) won narrowly fresh and could go on with it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chest Of Gold on top.
