Pace only fair with Kailee's Boy rolling to the lead ahead of Goodwin Guru and Blue Isles. HARSH (7) gave the leader too much rope last start here and left it too late when charging home hard into second. Is proving frustrating for punters but is humming and will be winning soon. Gets another great chance to break a long run of outs. GOODWIN GURU (12) recorded a strong maiden win over 2050m at Strathalbyn last time. Sparingly raced and has more to offer over this longer journey. Winning rider Taylor Johnstone sticks and she looks the main danger. BLUE ISLES (11) boasts an honest record this course finishing in the money three times. Rates well this line up and is certainly one to consider. BLACK SEA (1) settled well back from a wide draw last time but did warm nicely late. Strips fitter fourth-up and debuts the blinkers. Expecting him to be more prominent. SUGGESTED PLAY: Harsh to win.
