Moderate pace only with Our Huntress leading Miss Supernova. OUR HUNTRESS (8) returned from an 18-week spell and made it five minor placings from as many career runs when she closed well but found one better over 1100m at Hawkesbury last start. Raced wide without cover that day so although beaten at $1.45 it was a run full of merit. Ready to win with this step-up in distance. MERINI (6) did her best work late to get up for second when resuming over 1100m at Wyong last time out, her first outing since coming to the Lees stable from NZ. Lightly raced filly who will relish getting out to today's journey. MISS SUPERNOVA (7) has found the line well to fill minor placings in two runs this prep over 1100m. Very fit now and looking for this trip. ROYAL BOTANIC (10) led until the shadow of the post last start over this distance at Scone. Progressive filly who should be prominent for a long way. Waller first starter CLAUDEL (2) won a recent trial at this track. Has taken a while to get to the races but looks ready to make her mark now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Our Huntress.
