Plenty of pressure primarily from What A Yarn, Vivace and Spanish Lad. SPANISH LAD (2) maintained his terrific form on this track when winning fresh up here 2 weeks ago in a fairly similar field. He usually improves with racing, and he will carry 2.5kg less this time. He goes on top again for us. DELZ ABEEL (3) is another who appreciated getting back on this surface when finishing runner-up to the top pick last time out. He is closer to that runner in the weights this time, and he will have his chance to turn the tables in this. LERADO (5) finished third behind the top 2 pick last start, and he will drop 4kg. He can settle just off the pace, and with the right run, he can figure in the top 3 again. WHAT A YARN (4) won fresh up at Te Aroha, and then only battled late at Te Rapa just over a month ago. He has won and placed on this track in the past, and he is worth including in all top 4 combos. BERTIE WOOSTER (8) was an overdue maiden win earlier in the year, and he makes his poly track debut here. Don't risk him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spanish Lad can win again.
