BEEARETEE (9) worked home in good style to finish runner-up in heavy conditions over 1405m at this track two starts ago. Struggled under 59kgs at Inverell last time. Finds a race that sets up a lot better today so expect a return to form. OTTOMAN EMPIRE (3) led all the way for a dominant win first-up on a heavy deck over 1420m at Grafton 18 days ago. Tackles a better race today but drops 2kgs. The bog track brings him right into calculations. HIGHWIRE GIRL (2) handled the heavy here two back when a game second over the mile. Different story last start at Port Macquarie where she floundered. Blinkers go back on so worth another chance back at Coffs. VENOM WOLF (6) ran on well for second in going similar to this here two runs ago. Subsequently a fair effort at Inverell after getting too far back. In the right race to turn things around. STEEL RAIN (10) needed the run last start and is in mix with just 53kgs after the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Beearetee each-way.
