Fast pace assured with Hakusan Selene, Tamamo Altair and La Tarantella leading the charge. TAMAMO ALTAIR (2) steps up in trip and is backing up nine days after finishing third at Urawa. Draws in close and will be hard to beat. REISHIN (7) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. LA TARANTELLA (13) built on a nice second two starts back at Urawa with success as public elect over 900m at Kawasaki three weeks ago, getting home by one length. Kenji Okamura scored on her last time and retains the ride. Stepping up a level this time but on current form she is one of the chief contenders. NORTH DIVA (3) is resuming from a spell of four-and-a-half months and having his first run for the Yuta Sato yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at this track over 1000m. Consider.
