Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Oak Beach a potential leader. OAK BEACH (2) looks well placed. Three runs this time in have all been very good, stepping up to the 2000m last start at Pakenham and sticking on solidly for fourth in a tougher race. Comes back a notch here and the Lakeside circuit should suit from a nice draw. REALIKA (4) looks suited rising in trip third up having just battled last time at Pakenham off a big run first up. Looked in need of more ground last time which she gets now, go close. MORISU OJO (6) has been solid in two runs back, beaten under 62kg in an easier race last time, dropping 8kg off that. She'll be fitter and the stable had a good opinion of her in some of the better 3yo races in the Spring. FOIRE DE TRONE (3) struggled on the heavy 10 at Warrnambool last time but had won well fresh and can bounce back. BURLINGTON GATE (5) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oak Beach to win.
