No recognised leader lining up so expect a moderate tempo. BUSY FINGERS (1) ended last campaign with a 2L defeat when favourite at Bunbury, with that form working out well. His trial coming into this was very impressive and Pike's booking is a good push for his chances. Blinkers go on now and he makes plenty of appeal from an inside barrier. CAWARRA (6) was solid on resumption over this course and distance and should be fitter for the fresh effort. A better barrier this time around helps her chances and Chris Parnham now hops on board. Looks ready to go to the next level now. SONIC BREEZE (7) improved nicely last start in the heavy going at Albany when missing in a photo finish after flashing late. Back to 1000m may be the issue, but she's third-up now and rates highly. ROCK THE FOX (4) is on debut today and his recent trials suggest he can feature. TIGERO'RILEY (3) has to be included on the back of his latest trial. SUGGESTED PLAY: Busy Fingers can resume on a winning note.
