Genuine tempo with the speedy Predict The Future leading the way. DELLUCY (7) was beaten narrowly two starts ago over 1262m on a heavy track at Taree. Subsequently tired a long way out and finished down the track over 1300m at Scone. Can bounce back in this more suitable scenario. ZAVY'S SUN (6) has not raced since failing on debut over this distance at Rockhampton in December. In a new yard now and won a recent Murwillumbah trial. Expecting a far better performance this time around. The best figures for BE MORE PACIFIC (2) have come on rain-affected tracks, particularly his second two back on a heavy surface over 1305m at Tuncurry. Deep into the prep but continues to measure up. NEW BEGINNINGS (8) impressed on debut last start, quickening nicely through heavy ground to be beaten under a length over 1115m at Grafton. Sure to be hard to hold out over this slightly longer journey. PREDICT THE FUTURE (4) has been about the mark in both runs this prep. Handles the going and is a definite contender. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dellucy to finally break through.
