More at home over this sort of trip and there is far less depth to this field. Watch for a much better run. Stablemate BOMB PERIGNON (7) has been freshened up since a career-best performance over 1666m at Ipswich on 4 May, beaten just over a length after racing up on the pace throughout. Meets an inferior field today so if he handles the going this looks a big breakthrough opportunity. FRICTIONAL FORCE (4) returned a good figure three back when in the money over 1720m at Grafton. Recent efforts have been sub-standard but if on-song he is right up to this. PLAY IT COOL (5) ran second on a heavy track at this track two back - in the mix with a return to sloppy conditions. COLORADO TYCOON (3) battled on well to finish runner-up on a heavy deck at Port Macquarie last time out. Must be considered in similar circumstances this afternoon.
