Good pace from Last Ovation, Diamond Maker and Skipper O'malley and they'll have company. DIAMOND MAKER (4) missed the placings when resuming at Scottsville two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. LAST OVATION (1) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1900mon the turf here, beaten only 1.2 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. AUGRABIES (5) is yet to break through after 17 starts but not far off a win. Placed two back then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 2000m at this track. Should be camped just off the leaders. This looks a nice race for him. SKIPPER O'MALLEY (6) bounced back to form with a third place run on the turf here after a less than encouraging eighth on the turf here two back. Can keep form and looks ready to run well again.
