Expect a strong tempo with Ultra Blue pressing on from an outside draw, with Vianarra nearby. Siding with the upside of ASTIQUER (10) who won dominantly on debut at Cranbourne before tackling a deep Class 1 at Bendigo last start, finding the line quite well for fourth behind Clever Trevor who has since come out and won impressively on Saturday. That form looks good and she should take plenty of holding out. ULTRA BLUE (1) is racing well, just finding one better last time at Casterton as favourite. He's pretty bombproof and will roll forward and give a sight if left alone. CHERISH ME (2) has been okay in two runs back in stronger company and looks well placed here third up. Her best would go close and she might be finding something like it. DOUBLE PI (11) ran on strongly for a narrow third on resumption and the rise to 1400m suits nicely. She'll be hard to hold out. CAMP CABLE (5) is going well and a chance for the hat-trick. SUGGESTED PLAY: Astiquer to win.
