Expecting Pony Up to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. THOR'S ANGEL (5) bolted in two back as a $1.70 favourite before a 0.2L defeat last time out over 2100m here. She's racing in top order and the inside draw this time around is a big tick. Racing well since stepping up in trip and she can continue her run of recent form. PONY UP (1) is a likeable 3YO who got the job done over the mile last time out. She's been strong in Saturday races at this distance range previously and the claim of Martinan comes in handy. Should put herself on the speed and give them something to catch. REDRYE (4) won three back before disappointing two back. She returned to form with a narrow defeat last time out and now gets Pike in the saddle. Needs some luck from the draw but she rates highly on her latest effort. GOLD ENIGMA (8) bolted in at York last start and can go on with the job. AURORA QUEEN (6) is racing well and is not to be discounted on her recent form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Thor's Angel can go one better.
