STEEL SPINEL (5) was less than a length from the winner in second at this track on debut before breaking through for a strong win over 1000m at this track last start. Capable of further improvement and can go on with the job. ARC OF LIFE (9) showed early speed from an outside draw last time then tired over the final stages to finish eighth over 1000m at this track after a win at the previous outing. Expected to be in this for a long way. CINNAMON DAISY (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track over the same trip. Has the class to take this out. HAPPY PINK (7) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing ninth over 1000m at this track most recently. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
