In a race without an obvious leader, either Satono's Shout or Ko Phangan can roll them along. Tricky race. KO PHANGAN (2) can be the quick improver. He struggled first up at Caulfield in a tougher race behind Natural Fling who spaced the field and backed it up with a tough 2nd in a $1 million race. He showed good ability last time in and being by Ole Kirk, getting out in trip should suit. MENESS (7) debuted in a good race at Flemington behind Autumn Charm and struggled but he was in the market there off a poor start and can bounce back strongly. VALLICE (9) was close up in a bunched finish on debut in the feature Donald 2yo maiden and can improve up in trip. FRANKEL'S WORD (1) is a colt by Frankel for the Hayes yard with Zahra booked. He looks like he'll get over more ground but respecting. MISS WAITITI (12) is a filly by Circus Maximus who has trialled okay, watch betting. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ko Phangan to win.
