CHANSON D'OR (3) last appeared when successful by a neck over 1800m at this track 12 weeks ago, the only time she went to the races last prep. Should camp just off the leaders. Looks the winner again. WILL SURVIVE (6) comes here off a break of three months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1800m at Hanshin. Comes here with the best chance of an upset. MEANT TO BE (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Nakayama over 1800m. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. MADEMOISELLE ASK (2) was in the money at each run this time in before scoring over 1800m at Niigata last time. Confidence back now. Has to be respected.
