A race that lacks early pressure. AOI MIZUHO (5) has been in solid form with two placings in succession, most recently when beaten comfortably into third over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt when he was prominent throughout. Has his share of ability and looks hard to beat in this ordinary race. ETERNAL HOPE (14) returned from a break of three months and finished second over this course and distance last time out. Back-marker who keeps coming. Will prove hard to hold out. GILLE CHALUIM (2) stepped out for his debut over 1800m at Nakayama back on March 8 and finished tenth, beaten a long way. Should offer a bit more this time around. TROPHY POSE (15) is on debut. By Nadal and comes from the Yoichi Kuroiwa stable. Worth watching for a betting push.
