O'baby should spear straight to the front of the small field. EXCITE (1) broke through for a deserved first win in stakes company at Te Rapa 2 weeks ago, following on from a G1 fourth at Trentham. He won a trial racing in a clockwise direction before making his debut, so he should have no problem adapting to this circuit. On top again. INCANDESCENT (2) has been holding his form in good company since winning on debut here in the spring. He was runner-up to the top pick last time out in the same race, and with the same weight to carry, he may have to settle for the same result. O'BABY (4) won a trial prior to scoring comfortably on debut at Woodville 17 days ago. She jumps up 500m into a field with more depth, but she has the pole position, and she is worth of plenty of respect. ROYCE (3) was less than 2 lengths off the top pick in the same race last start, and he has top 4 claims in the small field. GROCER'S GIRL (5) finished ahead of the fourth pick last time out, and she will continue to improve with more racing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Excite should be winning.
