Solid tempo with Hope To Rule, Saxon Jewel and Desert Edge going hard, closely attended by Maxwhooshtapin. ASTRO WORLD (9) just missed on resumption when beaten in a photo finish over 1400m on the Scarpside at Pinjarra. She'll need a touch of luck from the barrier draw and was favourite on resumption. Carries less weight here with Pike sticking in the saddle and she can go one better. MOONWALK (13) also jumped favourite at Ascot when 1.6L off the winner on the quick turnaround over 1400m. She rises to the mile again for just the second time and should land in a beautiful position for Fiore. Can return to winning ways in what looks a suitable race. MIDNIGHT STAR (11) is looking for the hat-trick after winning a CL1 in good fashion over the mile at Ascot last time out. Chris Parnham replaces the apprentice hoop and she makes plenty of appeal. HOPE TO RULE (7) can give a bold sight from the front. MACCIATEAU (6) is racing well without winning and is worth including with the blinkers going back on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Astro World gets the nod in the last.
