Expecting Flyhalf to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. FLYHALF (8) has been a beaten short-priced favourite in all of her 4 starts to date, including her fresh up run here nearly 3 weeks ago. She is testing our patience, but she is worth one more chance in an even field. Follow your money. SILKY SHUBA (9) won a trial before finishing a game runner-up when resuming at Te Rapa a fortnight ago, despite being galloped on in the running. She strips fitter, and assuming that she never missed any vital work, then she can go one better. MANOLETE (5) is a stablemate of the top pick, who was also a beaten favourite when resuming from his spell. He only peaked late on his effort that day, and his first win is not far away. EARLICHEER (3) was a brave second after a short letup at Pukekohe, and it is only a wide draw that is against him in this. Stick with him on an each-way basis. ARMAGH (4) raced too keenly here last time out, and he will be spot on third up with his fitness, and he can figure in the top 3 here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flyhalf is overdue to win.
