Kaluakoi has good gate speed and likely to set a genuine tempo with the advantage of the inside draw. These full-size fields will make finding winners very difficult, but the flip side will be getting value. A BM85 over 1600m is a minefield, and we like OUR QUEEN (14), who has drawn a very nasty gate. She has been holding her own in Sydney since winning fresh up at Warwick Farm, and if JMac can offset that gate, then she has sound each-way claims. NODACHI (15) has found form again since joining the Matt Dunn stable, and she will be chasing a hat-trick of wins. A wet track is no problem, and she can get the job done again. KALUAKOI (18) should secure the run of the race for the pole position, and his record here is strong. He may even try to take them all the way, especially with Zac Purton stepping into the irons. WALKING PAINTING (8) booked his ticket North after leading throughout to score by half a length at Randwick-Kensington nearly 3 weeks ago. He has a good gate and may try to make all again. PRINCE LEVI (7) has been freshened since his last start 7 weeks ago. Don't risk him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kaluakoi each-way.
