Solid tempo anticipated with Stella Matutina leading the way. HOUYHNHNM (5) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. NAMURA IRIS (9) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1300m at this track after being in contention all the way. Will need a good ride from Megumi Jono off the awkward draw. Can feature. OLIVE BRANCH (2) missed the placings last time out over 1800m at this track. Prior to that had won two races on end. This looks a winnable race. STELLA MATUTINA (7) scored two back at this track but was below her best last time when sixth over 1300m at this track. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
