Expecting Hammoon Sensation to set a genuine tempo after crossing from wide out.
OLYMPIAN (4) was well in commission but failed in the Group 3 Frank Packer Plate two back. Shouldered 62.5kgs last start in a Class 2 over 1500m at Hawkesbury and struggled to quicken with that impost. Gets 2.5kgs off today and the mile on a big track looks ideal. Can bounce back. OCCULT (3) faced defeat for the first time since December 2024 when runner-up last time out in a 1400m Randwick Highway. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and despite a wide gate and being on trial at this distance he is racing too well to overlook. XCESSIVE FORCE (12) led in a foreign role recently at the Kensington track before wilting close to home. That was her first run in five weeks so she should be more resilient this time. MOON SWEEPER (1) brings strong Brisbane form to the race. The handicapper hasn't missed him which is the niggling concern. AUTUMN KING (2) hasn't been disgraced in stakes races of late and has the class to stretch this field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fancy the chances of Olympian in a typically tough Highway.
