Royal Summer to boot up to join Paralia and Montrock in a keen speed battle. ZIGGY STARCRAFT (2) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1300m at Wangaratta, when probably in the wrong part of the track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MISHIMA (1) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 1300m at Wangaratta. Drawn ideally and looks a leading player again. DON'TCALLMECHAMP (4) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fifth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1300m at Wangaratta. That was the same race Ziggy Starcraft ran third in, so he's got some ground to make up on that galloper, but he'll appreciate firmer footing here. GOATS ON OATS (8) is on the back-up after going around at Corowa on Monday and he wasn't beaten far that day, in what was probably a stronger race than this, so he's right in it providing he handles the back-up. DOUBTFREE (5) was poor last start, but good the run prior, so probably deserves another chance now at peak fitness. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ziggy Starcraft to win.
