Reasonable tempo with Something Shiny probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. SOMETHING SHINY (1) is back after a break of eight months. At the last run before the layoff he finished 14th over 1400m at Eagle Farm. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Toowoomba Inner Track trial and is a good chance to break through. The well-related JADDAF (3) (half to G1 winner Chain Of Lightning) returned last time with a solid second at this track over 1300m. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DIVINITY STAR (2) finished third last time over 1300m here, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing and is a definite top-three hope. ELLES MY NAME (9) is building towards a maiden win after minor placings at her last two runs, the latest when third over 1400m at Dalby, beaten 2.25 lengths. Tackling tougher opposition but could present some value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Something Shiny to shed the maiden tag.
