NEVIIM (4) was unplaced two starts ago in a G2 steeplechase (3900m) at Hanshin then produced a better result last time when he finished a distant fifth in the Nakayama Grand Jump steeplechase (4260m). Can play a serious role in this less daunting race. SHIHONO SPERANZA (5) returned from a layoff last time out in a steeplechase (3350m) at Nakayama, finishing seventh when partnered by today's rider J Takada. Generally goes well second up, with three wins from nine runs. Key runner - don't underestimate. DANON ROCKY (1) returns from a 84-day spell. Concluded the last prep with a minor placing in a steeplechase (3390m) at Kokura, beaten 0.8 lengths. Must be considered. MEISHO ATSUITA (3) resumes from a spell of two months. Had just the one run last preparation, finishing fourth in a G2 steeplechase (3900m) at Hanshin. Has found the right to launch this prep.
