Expecting a genuine pace with a number of these pressing forward. PARABELLUM (6) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start when she worked home well but found one better over 2000m at Wangaratta, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. JUST LANDED (1) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a neck over 1600m at Kilmore. Looks well placed and he should be in the finish again. MR TADASHI (3) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 2000m at Kilmore. Should be winding up late again. TRADEWORX (4) finished 2.6 lengths back from the winner last start at Wangaratta on a soft track and is down in weight this time. Might drift back but wind up late and can run on into the finish. HIGH COUNTRY STAR (2) has been consistent in four runs this prep - sadly, for connections, that has been running sixth - but hasn't been in a race as winnable as this in that time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Parabellum to win.
