Genuine tempo with the speedy Samarkand leading the way. SILVERY BREEZE (1) jumped the $2.50 fav here last time out and was a touch flat when 2.5L off the winner. His prior form stacks right up and coming back to C3 today is ideal. Can sit much closer than he has in recent events and Bowman reunites. Can bounce back to winning ways. CORLEONE (3) continued his strong run of form with a 0.8L victory last start as the race favourite. His record at this track and trip is very strong and Wong's claim comes in handy. Has the speed to roll across from the draw and he'll take plenty of catching. WITHALLMYFAITH (11) remains down in the weights here with Yeung sticking with the gelding. Form out of his last start has been franked and he was only 0.3L off the winner there. Rates highly on recent efforts and can play a leading role. VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (4) just missed behind Corleone last time out and can be in the finish once again.
