Ping Hai Comet has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. ACE WAR (6) has been very strong over the shorter 1650m journey recently and jumps right out to 2200m today. Purton remains with the gelding after being on board in his latest trial. Ticks plenty of boxes as he gains a start here and he can end his winning drought. YOUNG BRAVO (1) missed by 0.8L over the 1800m journey at this track. He closed strongly there and getting out to 2200m looks a good move for him. Looks as though he can go to another level out in trip now and he'll be very hard to hold out if he runs up to his most recent effort. SERANGOON (2) flew home to score over 1800m at Sha Tin most recently. He's likely to get back from the draw once again, but Bowman hops in the saddle now and he's a track and trip winner in the past. Can repeat the dose. STAR BROSE (11) was a winner at his last attempt over this track and trip and he can put his best foot forward.
