Good early pressure with Top Throne or Giant Leap likely to take up the running. GIANT BALLON (5) finished 1.3L off the winner here two back before a 2.8L defeat when going to Sha Tin last start as the race favourite. Purton remains with the gelding and the blinkers go back on today. Back to this track and trip where his best form is and he can get the job done this time. TACTICAL COMMAND (2) finished off well from beyond midfield at this track and trip last week as a $22 chance. The wide draw is likely to see him back in the pack once again, but he rates highly on his latest performance and a repeat performance will see him in the finish once again. HAPPY UNITED (8) is third-up here and steps out to 1200m for the first time in a while. He'll need some luck from the barrier draw, though he drops in weight and his best form can see him play a leading role. YEE CHEONG SPIRIT (10) is better than we saw last time out and can put his best foot forward here.
