Moderate tempo with Sky Cap leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. GENIUS BABY (2) is better than he showed last time out when beaten 3.3L over the 1400m journey at Sha Tin. The winkers go back on now as he drops back to 1200m. He's better than he showed there and his prior form stacks right up in this grade. Can bounce back to his best way. GAMEPLAYER ELITE (12) missed by 1.5L at this track and trip two back before a 2.5L defeat here most recently when getting a long way back in the run. Can sit closer this time around from a better draw and he drops 3.5kg for that last start defeat. Expecting him to return to form. STAR PERFORMER (8) steps out to 1200m now after a 2.5L defeat at this course last time out. He hasn't won for a while, but the rise in trip might be what he's looking for now. Down in weight here and a better performance is on the cards. SKY CAP (4) can improve on his recent performances with DBM riding and the blinkers coming off.
