Plenty of pressure with Holdem, Last Hello and Giannis leading the charge. BOSS 'N' HIGHHEELS (4) was strongly supported when resuming for her South Island debut, but failed to fire, finishing eighth over 1200m at Ashburton. She had won a trial prior to that fresh effort, and she will be a quick improver. On top, so follow your money. BEST ROSE (10) returns from a 5-month break. She kicked off her last campaign with a placing over 1000m at this track. She will be a lot stronger this year, and with 2 trials under her belt, she will be ready to rumble. DISCRETION RULES (1) resumed three-and-a-half weeks ago with a sixth over 1000m at Tauherenikau. He has a much better record on this track, including his only win, and with Bruno Queiroz replacing an apprentice, he can have a say in the outcome of this race. Stick with him. ARCTIC JEWEL (9) broke through in good style last time, winning his maiden over 1000m at Tauherenikau nearly 4 weeks ago, and with the same weight to carry, she can measure up here as well. SAILOR GIRL (7) drops in trip. Include at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boss 'N' Highheels can win.
