Has a strong record at this trip, scoring three times from five starts. Juan Paul V'd Merwe who has three wins when partnering stays on. Sure to run well. ELUSIVE WINTER (4) did well to score at Kenilworth two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when in contention on the bend before finishing eighth over 1100m at Kenilworth, beaten 2.25 lengths. That was in a much tougher race and is suited here. UN BEL DI (2) has not appeared since he finished fourth over 1100m at Kenilworth on November 22. Best form is at this trip. Goes well fresh and expected to measure up. SARDINIA BAY (1) finished sixth over 1200m in Listed grade at Kenilworth at his most recent appearance on November 22. Unbeaten at the track and distance. Worth plenty of thought.
