Good tempo expected with Carthusian, Shinonome and Gifted Dream rolling forward. SHORYU ASAHI (5) showed early speed from a good draw last start and battled on well for second over 1500m at Nagoya. Has the ability to take this out. CARTHUSIAN (8) tackled the mile for the first time last start at this track and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight she could manage only a minor placing. Should be poised just off the lead. Best figures should see her run well. A SHIN AZALEA (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1600m at this track. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. JUST A PARTY (6) improved last start but found one better over 1600m here. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
