Peecee Pussycat should be able to comfortably find the front. KINDLING SPARK (6) was plain over a mile first-up but improved sharply when fifth over 2200m at Ashburton a week-and-a-half ago, fighting on gamely after being prominent throughout. She will be peaking third up from a spell, and with a dip in grade, she can take this out. COGNOSCENTI (5) rolled forward over 2000m at this track last time and stuck on bravely for second. He should be able to settle on or near the speed again, despite the draw, and he can figure in the top 3 again. HENRY THOMAS (9) produced a strong late surge to finish third over this course and distance at his latest appearance, coming from well back in the field. He is in a good space and can have the last say here. MOUSSAIEFF (4) was solid when third over 2200m at Ashburton Racecourse last start, beaten by just over a length. He is always running on and will be peaking at the right time. Each-way. PEECEE PUSSYCAT (1) has not won for some time, and he likes to race on the pace. Stick with him on an each-way basis. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kindling Spark can win this.
