Reasonable tempo with Kadall probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. A good contrest. KADALL (3) will skip over and is a candidate to lead. He didn't finish it off second-up but he missed a nose first-up prior in a CL5 at Doomben from the speed. Proven third-up and can get back on track. CUTEPI (11) has been racing well without winning. Has pieces of form that would have her right in the finish. Missed by a nose at the Gold Coast first-up and she didn't have much luck at Eagle Farm last time. MODESTY (2) resumes for the Freedman yard off a long break. Formerly with the Waller yard in Sydney, the ex-UK galloper has good ability and won at Rosehill two back. Has trialled well, and despite the time away he has to be considered. NORTH OF ELI (6) peaks and is heading in the right direction. Maloney takes over from the 3kg apprentice and he has claims as well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kadall appeals most.
