Expecting a strong tempo, predominantly from Tavanasia, Jukebox Lucy and Highground. Hard to go past JUKEBOX LUCY (9) who is unbeaten from two starts this time in. Won here two back then was too tough as favourite at Mackay in the latest. Tricky gate but only needs to be holding form to be winning again. INVICTUS LAD (8) may be the biggest danger. Tackled the Country Stampede at Doomben latest and was four lengths away. Rates highly this line-up and gets chance to atone. TAVANASIA (5) last appeared when sixth over 1900m at Canberra Acton five months ago. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Glenda Bell. Has pace and looks a definite top-three chance. HIGHGROUND (12) was safely held last time at Rocky but scored with 63kg the start prior. Nicely weighted today and draws the inside so gets a chance to give a sight. CAPTAIN FOX (7) is a veteran sprinter who has had 24 tries this trip for just one win but 12 minors. Tough and should be in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Jukebox Lucy.
