Strong tempo assured with Manolo Bling, Golden Boom and Liquor rolling to the front. An open race. METALART (3) went back early from his wide draw over 1200m in the LR Falvelon Quality at Eagle Farm last time and it was a tough effort beaten less than 3L. He just missed there at Stakes level first-up and should be hitting this contest at peak. Gets the nod over GOLDEN BOOM (1), who is also third up and poised to win. He's a 4x Listed winner and won this race last year. 5x winning rider Maloney stays aboard and he's sure to feature. Stablemate KING KAPA (4) also has claims if the awkward barrier is managed. Just missed in a Magic Millions feature last time and is a 2x stakes winner. From the same yard, LIQUOR (11) would be a value hope if she put her best foot forward. She posted a strong relative figure two back at the Gold Coast and sits low in the weights. She draws inside and will run along.
