FLYING BILLIE (7) peaks off a narrow defeat in a 68 at Hobart this trip and a leading senior hoop takes over from the 3kg apprentice. He positions forward and carries a kilo less. Gets his chance in a competitive race. SKIN IN THE GAME (4) just beat the above home at Hobart, delivering the hat-trick as a short-priced favourite. The gate is awkward but he carries 2kg less and Newitt rides today and should give him every chance. MAGNAPRIME (3) bounced straight back, winning a CL4 at Hobart by a big space over 1400m from the speed. Has a handy 3kg claim and he's likely to give a big sight. PEROLA (5) has the ability but has been plain since her decent run at Stakes level first-up. Has the rail and inside barrier and she should appreciate the step-up in distance. On a 5-day return so must be pleasing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Flying Billie.
