Plenty of pace from Brooklyn Baby, Spiritual Gal and Chef De Mission matching motors ahead of Champagne Effort. SKATING ON BY (6) rebounded strongly at Oakbank at big odds after two quieter runs. Already proven over this course and distance, she maps to blend in beautifully from the middle draw and shapes as a genuine threat. LADY MEMPHIS (5) showed grit to score by a head here second-up in this grade. Rises in weight and must overcome another awkward gate. STRAWBERRY SWING (10) lifted last start when chasing hard into second and has since trialled well. With Milnes sticking, she looks a major player. BROOKLYN BABY (9) doesn’t win often but her peak figures stack up. Expect her to spear across from the wide draw and give another bold sight on speed. SUGGESTED PLAY: Skating On By gets the nod.
