Genuine tempo anticipated with good speed engaged. LAGUNA VERDE (2) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Safely held last time out when second over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Nicely placed to return to winning form. FRENCH FLAME (3) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. TRIPPING THUNDER (4) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Worth noting Chad Little goes aboard. Nicely placed to take this out. WILD FIG (6) is racing well but struggling to break through, the latest effort another minor placing when second over 1400m at this track. Has a win and three minor placings at this trip from five starts so he cannot be underestimated.
