Fast tempo assured with Hills Of Minto, Drumshanbo and Ibegood going toe-to-toe. ICYMISS (12) trialled well and likely had excuses at Ipswich on debut when backed off the map. Maloney was aboard and a 2kg claimer rides today. The blinkers go straight on and at an each-way quote she deserves another chance. DRUMSHANBO (2) resumes for the Freedman yard and the speedy galloper showed plenty on the local poly track in his brief initial preparation. Will be naturally improved and has trialled well. Has to skip over from an awkward gate but should go close. HILLS OF MINTO (1) draws low and found one better here on debut. Fitter and he also has claims. ANCIENT SCENT (6) led and only conceded late at Eagle Farm beaten 1.2L. Maps well and is sure to keep improving. SUGGESTED PLAY: Having something on Icymiss each way.
