Expecting Landshut and Banfield to pair off in front. PIC DES MOUCHES (3) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fourth beaten 2.75 lengths at Kyoto over 2200m. Reunites with Christophe Lemaire which is a proven winning combination. Fitter and is expected to take this out. The danger is CHARING CROSS (7) who returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 2000m at Nakayama. Has ability and should be right in the finish. REVE DE L'OPERA (8) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on March 7, finishing ninth and beaten 7 lengths over 2500m at Nakayama. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. LANDSHUT (6) last appeared when successful by a neck over 2400m at Kyoto eight months ago, the only time he went to the races last prep. Should camp just off the leaders. In the mix.
