CELTIC LIGHT (8) was well fancied last time out but after being in contention on the corner disappointed in finishing fourth over 1000m at Cunnamulla. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. POTENCO (4) returns after four months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 1400m at Goondiwindi. Good chance to break through. ELITE BLONDE (9) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish seventh at her latest appearance over 1200m at Cunnamulla. Draws well and fitter is expected to feature in the finish this time. SAMURAI WAND (2) could only manage to finish fourth at his latest appearance over 1000m at Injune after he got a long way back in the run. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him.
