Lots of speed predominantly from Sort Cha Mess, Amphawa and Diamantina Rose. DIAMANTINA ROSE (3) has returned in good order this preparation. Opened with a second at Warwick two starts back then scored by 1.75 lengths last time out over 860m at Gatton. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SILK SONIC (4) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 1000m at Toowoomba. Should run on into the finish again. SORT CHA MESS (6) resumes after seven months and looks ready following a Gatton trial win. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Shapes as one to consider. GYPSY TRICKS (2) finished third last time over 860m at Gatton, beaten 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing and is worth plenty of thought. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Diamantina Rose.
