Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Data Scramble, Anson Bay and Fury to control the tempo. SELF SERVE (6) sprang the gates and led throughout to win by a space here last time. That was in this class and has 2kg more but the inside gate and will take beating with a repeat. ANSON BAY (1) resumes from a spell of four months and is having his first outing under new trainer Chris Nash. Finished tenth at Eagle Farm over 1200m at the opening run last time in work. One of the better hopes despite the layoff. FURY (2) is racing well, most recently finishing second four weeks ago over 1200m at this track. Super consistent and well placed to figure prominently again. RAMPAZETTO (4) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 1600m at Echuca only to fade late and finish tenth. First try for new yard and this area and best figures stack right up. DATA SCRAMBLE (3) is another having first run here and a bold showing is expected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Self Serve.
