No recognised leader on paper but Enzo Charley has the pace to take it up despite a wide gate. FIERCE FIASCO (4) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid second over 1607m at Kilmore, beaten 1.3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Big chance to grab a well-deserved win. JUST SWIFT (12) is yet to break through in nine runs but has been thereabouts. Placed two back then was 5 lengths away in fourth over 1600m at Seymour last time. Shapes as one of the top chances. ENZO CHARLEY (2) is a five-start maiden who was in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third at the latest appearance over 1400m at Casterton. Should camp just off the leaders and ready for 1620m now. ROUGHNUT (10) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth at his most recent appearance over 1200m at Swan Hill. Appeals as a top-four contender up in trip. NEWCOMBE (8) was a big improver second-up, when 1300m up to 1800m, and while back in trip here should be bang-on fitness-wise. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fierce Fiasco each-way.
