Solid pace with Grandma's Dream finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. AMBIENT POP (3) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found one better over 1800m at Kyoto, beaten half a length after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MEISHO ROSE (14) is a six-start maiden who finished seventh at her most recent appearance over 1600m at Kyoto. This isn't the deepest form race so expect her to be right in the finish. JURATORY (5) has not raced since she finished fifth over 1600m at Nakayama on April 11. This sets up nicely. GHIRLANDA (15) was prominent at the corner and finished second last time over 1800m at Fukushima when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.3 lengths. Placed to advantage and can take this out.
