Expecting State Secret to set a genuine tempo after crossing from wide out. SNITZEL MISS (12) gets a pass mark for her two runs this prep, both in town. Wound up late but was never a threat last start over 1250m at Canterbury. Getting onto a bigger track over more ground looks the ideal third-up scenario. Great chance for her to finally break through. MOVIE NIGHT (9) has been well supported at both runs this time in work but missed out narrowly on each occasion. Not drawn the best but with even luck she can repay backers and get off the mark. CAPTAIN PEACOCK (4) didn't have a lot go his way so a 1.4 length fourth on debut over 1300m here was a good result. Can learn a lot from that experience and play a key role in this race. PINK PERSUASION (8) had a rare failure two back when stretched to 1600m. Back in form last time when beaten narrowly over 1450m at the Grange circuit. Draws the car park which is the main concern. STATE SECRET (1) was brave in defeat first-up at Wyong. Should give them something to catch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Snitzel Miss.
